About Our Founder
Christopher develops talent for the future. He empowers teams by leveraging his experience in building an HR Strategy that puts coaching and developing people and teams at the heart of what they do. Most recently, Christopher was recognized by The Continental Who’s Who and The Marquis Who’s Who in 2024 as a person who has demonstrated professional integrity and demonstrated outstanding achievement in his field, while making innumerable contributions to society. He was named a “Top 5 Leaders Redefining Success” by MagnateView in 2025, “Most Visionary & Influential HR Professional” of 2023 by CIO Today Magazine and one of “The 10 Most Influential HR Leaders To Follow, 2022” by CIOLook Magazine.
Christopher was most recently at Gilead Sciences, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Talent, Development and Inclusion. He defined Talent, Development & Inclusion capabilities and frameworks required to support business; including organizational health, team development, change management, and coaching. He develops long-term strategies to prioritize, develop and embed key capabilities, frameworks, and methodology to support and drive the organization to achieve its cultural aspirations.
Prior to Gilead, Christopher has spent over two decades in HR Leadership roles for Fortune 100 companies like Blue Shield of California, HP Inc., Starbucks Coffee Company and an impressive 15year career at Bank of America.
Christopher has his BFA from Webster University, He previously advised the Building Innovative Leaders program in partnership with Stanford University, Stanford Executive Education.
He designed the Growing Innovative Leaders program in partnership with National Taiwan University EMBA School. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt, is a certified NeuroLeadership Institute Facilitator and a frequent panelist and lecturer at Golden Gate University. McCormick is also a Senior Professional Career Coach (SPCC) through the International Association of Career Coaches.
Christopher has been awarded four OnCon ICON Awards for Top 50 HR Professionals in 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021, the 2016 Leading the Way Award- HP, 2013 Outie Award- Best Regional Affiliate- Seattle- Out & Equal, the Spirit of Starbucks Award, 2012 Brandon Hall Award- Best Learning Team, the Bank of America Award of Excellence (2006 and 2007), and The Communicator Award- Corporate Learning in 2005- Bank of America.
